Setting Up A New AWS Canvas Account

If you encounter an error that looks something like the following after clicking the “Start Lab” button in AWS Canvas (on the right side of the AWS Learner Lab interface):

Lab is in state: CREATE_FAILED - CloudFormation did not receive a response from your Custom Resource. Please check your logs for requestId [46bfb34a-1871-427a-b986-b8d6b4dec93f]. If you are using the Python cfn-response module, you may need to update your Lambda function code so that CloudFormation can attach the updated version., please end lab and wait for it to complete.

Please let us know in the Google Space and we will be able to create a new account for you. Once you receive your new email invite, please use the procedure demonstrated in the following short video to ensure that your new account isn’t just “merged” with your older account:
